Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid – Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid is a low molecular weight, chemically broken down version of the naturally high molecular weight and current IT moisturizer hyaluronic acid (HA). It is composed of three different molecular weight hyaluronic acid particles, which, depending on the size of the molecule, are able to penetrate different layers of the skin and do their job effectively:

100-300 kDa HA, this particle size not only moisturizes, but can also help the skin repair itself by increasing its self-defense against external factors. It is also said to accelerate the wound healing process and is especially beneficial for sensitive skin types (acne, rosacea, inflammatory skin diseases).;

20-50 kDa HA molecules improve and strengthen the biomechanical properties of the skin, it is claimed that particles of this size can be absorbed into the skin and reduce wrinkles, which is why it is often used as an "anti-aging ingredient.";
